Controlled PIP, Independent Ventilation

The EasyPuff Resuscitation Unit with T-piece, which completely eliminates human-factor-related variables in critical respiratory support procedures, provides uninterrupted and standardized ventilation performance

The preset peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) eliminates the greatest weakness of manual bag-valve systems and leaves no room for human error. Consistent ventilation is ensured regardless of the clinician’s fatigue, experience, or hand strength.

Alveolar Protection with Controlled PEEP

A fixed PEEP of 5–6 cmH₂O prevents alveolar collapse during expiration, particularly in preterm lungs, and maximizes and supports oxygenation.

Protection Against Barotrauma with a Maximum Pressure Limiter

The integrated safety valve automatically vents excess pressure when a predetermined pressure threshold is exceeded. While the maximum pressure applied with the EasyPuff T-piece is 26±2 cmH₂O, the Ambu bag has a much wider tolerance range. EasyPuff provides a measurable reduction in the risk of lung injury.

Precise FiO₂ Control

The oxygen concentration, which can be adjusted between 21% and 100% using the Blender option, minimizes the risk of hyperoxia. This control, which is critical for preventing the development of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in preterm infants, significantly reduces the risk of hypocapnia.
